US equities and listed options.
Is it really native, or a web app in a window?
Native. Marea is a true desktop app with its own renderer, not a web page in a wrapper. A single download for macOS and Windows, no Electron, no JS + DOM slop browser.
What's the difference between Tape and Desk?
Tape is real-time US equities: quotes, charts, footprint and internals. Desk adds the full options stack: live chains, Greeks, gamma exposure, the IV surface and the NetGEX lattice. Both bill monthly; the one-time Founder license unlocks Desk for life.
How fast is the data?
Marea shows exactly what our upstream venues and data providers give us for redistribution. Speed, latency and availability are set by those sources. We render what we receive the instant it arrives, but can't promise delivery faster than the feed. Some symbols and feeds are delayed per venue terms.
How does licensing work?
Your license is cryptographically verified and bound to your device, and renews quietly in the background, with no phone-home nag screens. Sign in once and trade.
Can I connect an AI or LLM to automate my own signals?
No. Marea has no AI or LLM integration and is not affiliated with any AI provider. It is a market-structure dashboard with real quotes, full options chains, Greeks and gamma exposure models.
